Pufferfish, Galapagos

Pufferfish always make me smile, they just look so goofy as they swim along with their big eyes, twirling fins and squishy stuffed animal looking bodies. When diving in Galapagos I could not believe how many did not swim around but seemed to rest in cracks and crevices along the walls and on the bottom amongst the rocks. I always look to capture the character of the animal and this one was just sitting in this hole twirling its ventral fins and going nowhere. When shooting really dark images it is easy to overexpose them if you are in the ttl mode on your strobes. I often shoot in manual mode and use strobe to subject mathematics on the different power settings of the strobes.
