Give the Gift of the Ocean to Your Favorite Teacher or Local School

(Santa Barbara, CA- November 23, 2009) Dive Into Your Imagination has created a give back program making it easy for you to give the gift of the Ocean to your favorite teacher or local school this holiday season in honor of the comments from the teachers who participated in the Teachers' Choice Awards released earlier this week. Any product ordered from now until January 1, 2010 will receive a special limited edition print for the classroom and a free set of lesson plans to accompany the DVDS due out in 2010.

Teachers across the United States found the series very engaging and one of the highest interest products available. Teachers highly recommend this product to their colleagues. Here is what a few teachers had to say:

As a Save Our Seas grant recipient in 2007, the award winning Dive Into Your Imagination DVD Series, What Makes a Fish a Fish, Who Lives in the Sea, and Dive Into Diversity, were produced by one of the top Ocean environ-educators, Annie Crawley. In 2009, Save Our Seas Foundation awarded another grant to Annie Crawley of Dive Into Your Imagination to produce a series of lesson plans to accompany the ocean based DVD series, designed with parents and teachers in mind. The lesson plans are scheduled to be released in 2010 and when you place your order for your favorite teacher or school let them know and you will receive your gift and the lesson plans when they are released.

Teacher reviewers in the classroom for the Teachers' Choice Awards were between Pre-K and third grade. The DVDs have been described as "AWESOME! The kids responded well and I have watched a lot of animal planet, and this DVD was excellent."

Other teachers felt the videos were absolutely beautiful and showed sea animals that children don't typically see. The Dive Into Your Imagination DVDS were created so they could be played as a program or divided into chapters. There are three audio tracks, English, Spanish or Music only, so teachers can choose to have the children listen to a narrator or they could speak over the visuals. Teachers applauded at the information supplied in an entertaining and educational way:

"My students learned how the animals depend on each other for food, safety, and care when they hurt. The children were very impressed how some animals helped take care of other animals who had been injured."

"Students were able to improve their skills in animal identification, understand animal behavior, and appreciate for the importance of animal life in the ocean."

"It was very age appropriate for our students. They loved the DVDs, and the information they learned was great!"
