Spinner Dolphins also know scientifically as Stenella longirostris are amazing creatures! They can pull breathtaking acrobatic maneuvers as they fly throught the air and spin around there axis. These dolphins can be found in deeper tropical waters around the world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

These dolphins use echolocation to help them communicate as well as hunt. Echolocation is a bunch of high pitched sounds which the dolphins can produce and then see as the sound wave bounce back off objects. This alows them to see in dark or murky water much better than there eyes could let them see by themselves. They can then use this to see there prey and much more effectively and get dinner. They also talk to one another with this complexed set of whistles.dolphin2.jpg
