I admit, I am not a Final Cut Pro genius. I have been using Final Cut for years, but like many programs out there, I work on a need to know basis. Meaning, I don't know that much about the parts of FCP that I don't use. Doing these tutorials for our website has sent me on a quest for topics to cover that I have never dealt with personally.
Because of this I am reminded that the best resource besides the internet, which isn't always that helpful anyways, is FCP's own User Manual! No not that huge book that comes in the box, but the digital version. It has a great search feature as long as you use the right wording because it does tend to pick out a lot of fragmented words. Check out the User Manual by running HELP>>FINAL CUT PRO USERS MANUAL. What's really cool is that you can click on the table of contents and be taken directly to the page you need to be on. It's a very quick way to tips on anything, from formats to exports and even some documentation on filters. So when you combine tutorials on the internet with the user manual, you are sure to solve many a problem.
